Talented Latin pop singer Alejandra Tejada was born on February 27th, day of the independence of the Dominican Republic, in Bani - a city located an hour west of Santo Domingo - known as the “home of poets”. Alejandra’s beautiful voice enhanced with her talent for song writing and composition motivated her to study music and develop her aptitudes as a musical performer.
Her melodies, a fusion of Latin pop with the tropical cadence of the Dominican bachata, a guitar is soft, tropical and sticky, as distinctive as her lyrics. Expressions of experiences of her life in her modest neighborhood in Bani in where most of her life happened. Alejandra’s love for composition started very young
when she began writing poems and thoughts which later on would become her own music. She dedicated her free time to creating melodies but it wasn’t until she came to the United States that she started producing and singing professionally. What started as a as a little girl's game of singing and dancing in the neighborhood where she grew up, was transformed in what today is her passion and career. What for some is still a dream, for Alejandra is a reality: she is a celebrity who has a star.
A strong-minded Alejandra who wanted to illustrate her passion for art, partnered up with internationally acclaimed producer David Cabrera, who has worked side by side with stars such as Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilera, Lauren Hill, Lenny Kravitz, Carlos Santana, Jose Feliciano, P.Diddy, 50 Cent and Fat Joe Dog. Together they created Indomable, her newest musical production. What she calls “A compilation of all her dreams, efforts and talents”. After working with Alejandra, David Cabrera has expressed his admiration: “She has what we call 'it' everyone wants to have 'it' but precious few do. Alejandra has it; I knew together we'd make a special record."
