Season two seems to be turning out great and a lot of you have been messaging me letting me know how much you enjoyed the first episode. S exciting! My birthday bash turned out great and having all my close friends there to share the experience with me was even better.  Unfortunately, the party is over and now it’s work time! At Tr3s and at home…LOL.

Even before my birthday my sister Emely and I planned to move into a new apartment together, and after my birthday it was time to start actually moving in. My little sister was really trying to move in as many things in as possible on her own and I felt super bad ;( I made sure to make some time to start cleaning until I was hit with some news. The Karlifornia team informed me on a really cool opportunity. Mi TRL asked us to do another assignment for them, interview Ms.Penelope Cruz!

I needed to do my research prior to the interview which meant going to a special screening of Vicky Christina Barcelona, Ms Cruz’s most recent film. She is an amazing actress and incredible in the movie. ( Note: The movie is super sexy ;) The movie was so amazing, I came out of it in love with love again. The very next day I got my chance to meet one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. I was super nervous to speak with Penelope Cruz and thought I might lose it. But, Ms. Cruz was super nice and the interview was awesome!  Unfortunately I couldn’t relish the moment for very long as I had to run home to help Emely move into our apartment. My stress level was going up!

Still Emely and I got moved in and get a little settled when my next big assignment came up.  MTV Tr3s flew me out to New York to be the backstage correspondent for FASHIONISTA...whoop whoop.  It was going to be all work and no play, but I was super excited.

I love flying out to New York, because I would get to see my extended Tr3s familia. I’m never able to hang out with mi hermanos L boogs or Carlos, so when I’m out there I make sure to at least grab a coffee with them.

FASHIONISTA was such an exciting production! We had models roaming the MTV hallways, designers making last minute touches, make up artist applying lipgloss and me trying to memorize my lines.. lol. That day was crazy and I had a script to get down at least well enough so it wouldn’t lookTOO obvious I was reading it off the tele-prompter. But,  I had a great support that day from one of my MTV sisters Michelle Tavarez. She made it so easy to remember my script that by the time we began shooting I was in complete show time mode. THANKS MICHI!

So, before I knew it I was on the move again, as it was time to fly back home to Los Angeles.  It was a super busy week, but a great week, too. And as I flew back home I realized that I was so fortunate.
